Job Description

Our contributions to nation-building and fostering self-reliance have been significant over the past two decades.We are currently seeking passionate professionals to join us on our journey of growth, particularly in the role of Plant Head - TPP 2400 MW, overseeing one of Indias largest captive power plants at Vedanta Jharsuguda.Roles & Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the CEO - Power to develop strategies enhancing internal and external customer value- Formulate and execute operating plans to achieve business goals aligned with corporate strategy- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and maintain the plant efficiently to maximize availability factor- Coordinate with power sales team to identify generation and delivery schedules- Engage with Central and State authorities for revenue maximization in UI regime- Benchmark operational practices and implement best O&M practices- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies- Collaborate with technical service providers to ensure optimal performance- Develop SLAs, systems, and processes for SBU Heads- Review business strategy periodically and take corrective actions- Set targets for function heads and monitor performance regularlyEducation Qualification | Work Experience | Desired Attributes:- Education Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech with strong systems & process orientation- 16 - 20 years of experience in power plants of 1200 MW- Strong knowledge of the Power sector industry- Competence in operating and managing a power station- Knowledge of power plant equipment, systems, and construction processes- Understanding of power equipment markets and vendors- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat we offer you:- Competitive remuneration and rewards- Globally benchmarked people-policies and facilitiesAt Vedanta Aluminium, we are guided by our core values of Trust, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Excellence, Integrity, Care, and Respect.
