Job Description

    Job Summary: The Air Tickets and Tour Package Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the booking of air tickets and tour packages for clients. This includes collaborating with airlines, travel agencies, and service providers to ensure seamless travel experiences. The coordinator is responsible for handling customer inquiries, preparing travel itineraries, making reservations, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Air Ticket Coordination:
      • Research and book air tickets for clients based on their preferences, budget, and travel requirements.
      • Ensure ticket bookings are confirmed, and any necessary changes or cancellations are handled efficiently.
      • Work closely with airlines and travel partners to secure the best rates and routes.
      • Monitor ticket prices and availability, adjusting bookings as necessary.
      • Provide clients with relevant travel information, including flight details, baggage policies, and check-in procedures.
    2. Tour Package Coordination:
      • Design and customize tour packages for clients, including transportation, accommodations, and activities.
      • Collaborate with hotels, tour operators, and local service providers to ensure all elements of the tour package are booked and confirmed.
      • Create itineraries that are in line with client preferences and budget.
      • Provide clients with detailed information about the tour, including itineraries, accommodation details, and special requirements.
      • Ensure all documentation (e.g., tour vouchers, tickets, insurance) is provided in a timely manner.
    3. Customer Service:
      • Respond to customer inquiries, providing information about available air tickets, tour packages, and travel options.
      • Assist clients in resolving any issues or concerns related to their bookings or travel arrangements.
      • Offer recommendations on destinations, hotels, and activities based on client interests and needs.
      • Address any special requests or modifications to travel plans.
    4. Administrative Duties:
      • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions.
      • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other necessary documentation.
      • Coordinate payments and follow up on outstanding balances for travel packages or tickets.
      • Monitor travel-related regulations (e.g., passport, visa, and health requirements) and inform clients accordingly.
    5. Marketing and Promotions:
      • Promote special deals, discounts, and packages to clients through various channels (e.g., email, social media, or in-store promotions).
      • Assist in preparing promotional material for upcoming tours and packages.
    6. Travel Industry Knowledge:
      • Stay updated on the latest trends in the travel and tourism industry.
      • Keep track of changes in airline policies, tour offerings, and other travel-related services.
      • Build relationships with travel suppliers and vendors to ensure the best deals for clients.
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Education: A bachelors degree in travel, tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or airline industry is a plus.
    • Skills:
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
      • Proficient in using booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
      • Knowledge of global destinations and tourism trends.
      • Customer service-oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
    Work Environment:
    • Interaction with clients may occur via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Work may involve evening or weekend hours during peak travel seasons.
