    Store KeeperJob Profile Printing & Packaging Industry JobTitle: Store KeeperJob Summary:The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining records, and coordinating with procurement and production teams in a printing and packaging company. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of stock management practices.Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain records of incoming and outgoing stock. Regularly update stock levels and ensure availability of raw materials like paper, ink, films, plates, and packaging materials. Conduct routine stock audits and report discrepancies. Material Handling & Storage: Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage to printing and packaging materials. Follow safety guidelines for handling chemicals, inks, and adhesives. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) methods as required. Procurement & Coordination: Coordinate with the purchase department to replenish stock based on production needs. Verify received materials against purchase orders and report any shortages or defects. Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams for timely deliveries. Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movements using ERP/software or manual registers. Generate reports on stock consumption, reorder levels, and wastage. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Support to Production & Quality Control: Provide necessary materials to the production team on time. Assist in quality checks by ensuring that only approved materials are issued for production. Report any defective or expired materials to management. Housekeeping & Safety Compliance: Keep the store clean and organized. Follow workplace safety standards to prevent hazards. Ensure proper labeling and segregation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or graduate in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Experience: 3 - 4 years of experience in store keeping, preferably in the printing and packaging industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of inventory management software. Familiarity with printing and packaging materials. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word). Soft Skills: Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Work Environment: Work primarily in a warehouse or store area within a printing and packaging facility. May require lifting, moving, or operating material handling equipment.
