Job Description

    You will be responsible for setting up, administering, and supporting MySQL database servers for Production, QA, and Development environments. Your main tasks will include monitoring the databases for performance issues, bottlenecks, and other concerns, as well as identifying and implementing solutions. Additionally, you will be in charge of performing backups, restorations, and upgrades of the database servers.A key aspect of your role will involve creating and refining complex database queries, indexes, stored procedures, and bulk data extraction. You will also be expected to develop database tools and scripts to automate processes wherever possible. Proactive monitoring of the database systems to ensure secure services with minimal downtime is essential.Experience in performance tuning and the use of database monitoring tools will be advantageous for this position. Familiarity with Replication, Clustering, Tuning, Sizing, and Monitoring will also be beneficial. As part of a 24x7 support environment, you may need to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays.Key Skills required for this role include:- 1-5 years of MySQL/MariaDB experience- Proficiency in day-to-day database support and monitoring- Experience with scripting- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment- MySQL Certification would be considered a plus.The shifts for this role are rotational, with weekdays designated as weekoffs and the possibility of night shifts. The available shift timings include:- 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM- 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM- 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM- 09:30 AM - 06:30 PM- 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM- 01:30 PM - 10:30 PM- 03:30 PM - 12:30 AM- 10:30 PM - 07:30 AMThis is a full-time, permanent position, with benefits such as health insurance and provident fund included.
