Job Description

As a Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:- Strong assembly process knowledge, including designing and drawing fixtures, special gauges, special cutting tools, and ATPP tools.- Preparation of operation drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).- Effective resource management and coordination with internal teams.- Driving and implementing procurement cost reduction projects.- Implementing internal controls to ensure smooth operational transactions.- Maintaining inventory and stock of jigs and fixture parts.- Coordinating with suppliers for parts manufacturing and delivery.- Ensuring 5S and Kaizen culture within the department.- Knowledge of tightening techniques and fastening tools.Qualifications required for this role include:- Knowledge of work holding devices and GD&T.- Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.In addition to the mentioned responsibilities and qualifications, no additional details about the company were provided in the job description.
