Job Description

    Job descriptionWe are looking for An energetic Business Development Manager to help drive our sales and grow the business. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Your duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, and identifying and aiding realization of new business opportunities. You will work with various departments (like Tendering) and report to the Head of Business Development.The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the companys reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or Business Development in Civil Engineering or similar consultancy is strongly desirable.Responsibilities:Willing to familiarize yourself with the companys vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships. You will be required to ensure empanelment & registrations of new client, certifications and awards that would increase our win rate.Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.Identify new business opportunities and partners for Joint ventures or pre-tender tie ups.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.Requirements:5 years relevant work experience in business development or similar field of Civil Engineering or any Project Based Consultancy is desirable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple leads simultaneously and work under pressure.Strong organization skills, eagerness for client satisfaction and go-getter attitude.Friendly and personable demeanour with a proactive approach to work.Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.Masters / Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field is preferable.Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)Industry Type: Engineering & ConstructionDepartment: Sales & Business DevelopmentEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentRole Category: BD / Pre Sales
