Job Description

Position: IT & Low Voltage Technician Job Responsibilities: Read and understand drawing layouts and execute work as per the approved drawing. Perform Cat6/network cable laying, routing, dressing, and termination . Perform network punching, patch panel termination, and RJ45 crimping . Install and configure CCTV cameras , including cable laying and basic testing. Perform electrical wiring and related low-voltage electrical work . Install network racks, patch panels, cable managers, and other networking equipment . Install DB boxes and understand basic electrical/low-voltage connections. Handle structured cabling and low-voltage (ELV) work at project sites. Have basic knowledge of computer hardware, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and troubleshooting . Have basic knowledge of computer networking, LAN, switches, routers, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting . Maintain proper cable dressing, labeling, termination, testing, and site documentation . Coordinate with the project team and complete assigned work within the required timeline. Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the work site. Required Skills: Ability to read and understand technical/drawing layouts. Practical knowledge of Cat6 cabling, punching, crimping, and networking . Knowledge of CCTV installation and basic troubleshooting . Knowledge of electrical wiring and ELV/low-voltage systems . Knowledge of network rack installation and structured cabling . Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking . Willingness to travel to customer/project sites as required. Good working attitude, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team. Experience: 13 years in IT, networking, CCTV, electrical, structured cabling, or ELV work preferred. .
