Manager US/Canadian Payroll & AccountingLocation: Industrial Area, Phase 8B, MohaliWorking Days: 5 Days a WeekShift: 4:30 PM 1:30 AMJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Manager US/Canadian Payroll & Accounting to manage a team of 6 Payroll Accountants and oversee payroll operations for US or Canadian clients.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in US or Canadian Payroll along with proven experience in team leadership and people management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead a team of 6 Payroll Accountants.Oversee end-to-end US or Canadian payroll processing.Review payroll processing, reports, reconciliations and ensure accuracy and timely completion.Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations and statutory requirements.Monitor team performance, allocate workloads and ensure timely deliverables.Handle payroll-related issues, escalations and resolve client queries effectively.Coordinate with accounting and other internal teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.Support client onboarding and payroll implementation activities.Identify process gaps and drive continuous process improvements.Provide guidance, coaching and performance feedback to team members.RequirementsPrior hands-on experience in US Payroll or Canadian Payroll.Proven experience in leading/managing a payroll team.Experience managing a team of approximately 6 members is preferred.Strong knowledge of payroll operations, reconciliations and compliance.Experience with payroll and accounting systems.Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage deadlines, team performance and client escalations.Mandatory FitUS or Canadian Payroll experiencePrior team leadership/management experienceStrong payroll operations and compliance knowledgeComfortable managing a team of 6 Payroll AccountantsWilling to work 5 days from Industrial Area, Phase 8B, MohaliComfortable with the 4:30 PM 1:30 AM shiftSkills: team lead,us payroll,accounting,canadian payroll,payroll,team leadership,compliance,payroll operations,payroll processing .
