Job Description

    About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Sales & Business Development specializing in logistics, transport operations, and warehouse sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in identifying business opportunities, delivering client-focused solutions, and achieving sales targets within the logistics industry.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies focused on transport operations, warehousing, and logistics solutions to meet revenue goals.
    • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across transport and warehouse domains.
    Business Development:
    • Identify and secure new clients in transport operations and warehouse services.
    • Develop customized logistics and warehousing solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Drive sales efforts by leveraging in-depth knowledge of transport and warehouse operations.
    Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
    • Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive repeat business.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and warehouse operators.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and strengthen partnerships.
    Market Analysis & Insights:
    • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning in transport and warehouse sales.
    • Analyze and interpret sales data to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategies.
    Transport & Warehouse Operations:
    • Work closely with transport and warehouse teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services.
    • Promote integrated transport and warehousing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to maintain service standards and compliance with regulations.
    Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales commitments.
    • Mentor and support junior sales team members and contribute to team development.
    Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • 715 years of experience in sales or business development within the logistics, transport, and warehouse sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of transport operations, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Self-driven and adaptable with a strong customer focus.
