Job Description

    As a Senior Software Engineer at Emerson, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of the Emerson MES product Syncade in Pune, India. Your responsibilities will include:- Working collaboratively with the software development team to design, architect, and develop new solutions.- Creating automated tests for new product features and enhancements to enhance solution robustness.- Providing technical leadership and leveraging your experience to guide the team.- Cultivating an environment of innovation and promoting disciplined software engineering practices to drive business value.- Writing technical and non-technical documentation to support users effectively.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience.- Proficiency in C# or Winform.- Strong knowledge and proficiency in HTML, JS, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, or Lit (web components).- Familiarity with software design patterns and their practical application.- Experience with database software such as SQL Server and Oracle.- Good understanding and proficiency in backend development using technologies like NodeJS and C#.- Proficiency in software unit testing.- Previous exposure to Progressive Web Apps for enhancing user experience.- Hands-on experience with agile methodology.- Detail-oriented mindset and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
