Job Description

Role Overview:As an Application Manager at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in bid management, focusing on selecting valves, sizing actuators, and pricing isolation valve products and field equipment based on customer requirements. You will act as both an individual contributor and Manager for Key and Must Win Projects. Your main responsibilities will involve working as a technical expert during the quotation phase to provide the best product/resolution for the given application in coordination with various teams.Key Responsibilities:- Account Manager for Key and Must Win Projects, collaborating with internal and external customers to understand requirements and propose suitable resolutions.- Ensure timely submission of quality offers in coordination with different teams such as BDMs, sales, Legal team, PMO, and factory PSQs.- Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, business partners, and distributors.- Attend pre and post order technical meetings with relevant teams and ensure CRM data are regularly updated.- Review project requirements accurately, seek clarifications and approvals, and ensure on-time submission of offers with DOA compliance.Qualifications Required:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Proficiency in MS Office.- Ability to establish priorities and multitask effectively.- Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.- Detail-oriented and assertive character, capable of managing complex situations under pressure.Additional Company Details:Emerson prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
