Job Description

    As an ambitious and target-driven Area Sales Manager, your role will involve leading sales operations in a specific region. You will manage a sales team, develop strategies to achieve revenue targets, and build strong relationships with clients to expand market presence.- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives to maximize performance- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned area- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt sales approaches- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews- Conduct training and development sessions for the sales team- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and ethical practicesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite- Willingness to travel within the assigned regionIn terms of experience, you should have at least 4-8 years of proven experience in sales with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory managerial role. Experience in your specific industry (e.g., FMCG, IT solutions, B2B retail, etc.) will be a strong advantage. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets is also important.The salary for this position is as per industry standards, and there are 3 positions available for Area Sales Managers in Pune.
