Assistant Manager Finance

Job Description

As a Finance Leader for Process Measurement & Controls (PMC) India business at Honeywell International Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategies and supporting the growth of a business with 5 lines of business and revenue of approximately $80 million. Your responsibilities will include:- Providing business finance support and leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts.- Demonstrating persuasive communication skills to influence and negotiate with cross-functional teams.- Challenging the status quo and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.- Managing multiple tasks concurrently and working effectively under strict deadlines.- Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across functions.- Partnering with the business to drive growth and achieve financial commitments in terms of revenue, operating income, working capital, and cash flow.- Identifying and managing potential cost inefficiencies and balance sheet exposure matters.- Working closely with various Honeywell Finance functions to ensure smooth business operations and compliance.- Providing financial guidance to the PMC leadership team on strategic analysis, deal analysis, contract reviews, and cost control.- Implementing and overseeing financial planning processes such as Hon STRAP, AOP, and forecasting to ensure reliability and accuracy.- Focusing on cost productivity and financial discipline through detailed business plans and spend analysis tools.Qualifications required for this role include:- CA / CS / ICWA with 8-12 years of experience in finance and accounting.- Experience in dealing with various functions and global stakeholders.- Proficiency in verbal English and written communication.- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and proficiency in MS Office tools.- Familiarity with Indian GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS, with expertise in Project Accounting.Honeywell International Inc. is a leading software-industrial company dedicated to introducing state-of-the-art technology solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and safety in various industrial sectors.
