Backend Developer - SDE 4

Job Description

As a Backend Engineer at Groww, you will have the opportunity to work on highly maintainable and unit-tested software components/systems that address real-world problems. You will be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of product/feature right from design, code, and deployment. Collaborating with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sprints will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure quality at every level, from problem-solving to design, code, and bug fixes. In case of production issues, you will be required to unblock users on priority, troubleshoot, and fix production issues promptly. Your role will also involve mentoring and assisting other team members to ensure high overall team productivity.Key Responsibilities:- Work on highly maintainable and unit-tested software components/systems- Take end-to-end ownership of product/feature- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders- Ensure quality at every level of the development process- Troubleshoot and fix production issues promptly- Mentor and assist other team members- Work on microservices-based architecture and cloud infrastructures like GCP, AWS, etc- Convert design into code fluently- Demonstrate good learnability and adopt technologies for building large-scale systemsQualifications Required:- 6 years of experience in building scalable restful/soap microservice services- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of design patterns- Good understanding of data structures & algorithms- Practical working experience with Java and Spring- Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of CS fundamentals- B Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed collegeIf you are passionate about defying conventions and creating something extraordinary, Groww is the place for you.
