As a BI Platform Admin Engineer at Syngenta, based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the organizations Qlik Sense and PowerBI environments. Your responsibilities will include:- Installing and configuring PowerBI and Qlik Sense, including site and cloud-related components- Providing troubleshooting and diagnostic support for platform issues, such as incident, problem, and service outage management- Managing platform upgrades, patch and bug fix deployment, as well as implementing new innovative features and extensions- Ensuring platform availability, reliability, and identifying cost optimization opportunities- Implementing platform security measures and ensuring compliance with related standardsYour qualifications for this role should include:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent technical training and experience- Certification in Qlik Sense Administration or PowerBI admin- Experience with AWS, Azure Cloud- AWS Certification for Cloud architecture knowledge (Good to have)Additionally, you should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with external teams and vendors- Agile Scrum/DevOps knowledgeWith over 9 years of experience, including at least 3 years of Qlik Sense and PowerBI administration experience in a multinational environment, you will be expected to provide technical leadership and guidance to self-service users and developers for best practices.
