As an Application Systems Engineer at EY, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing state-of-the-art applications using the Pega Development platform to optimize business processes. Your responsibilities will include:- Working effectively as a team lead, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating managers on task progress- Striving to exceed client and team expectations, working on complex assignments- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients and onsite personnel- Ensuring on-time delivery of allocated tasks- Participating in Scrum ceremonies, providing status updates, and engaging in design, development, QA, deployment, and support activities- Complying with EY policies and procedures such as Timesheet and Leaves management- Updating technical architecture/design and unit test cases to ensure high-quality deliverables- Building Technical Assets and AcceleratorsSkills and attributes that will contribute to your success in this role include:- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills- Experience in producing high-quality reports and presentations- Participation in organization-wide people initiatives- Hands-on experience in at least 3-4 projects- Knowledge of Java/J2EE platform- Understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience in PL/SQL- Ability to cross-skill and cross-train as per business requirementsTo qualify for this role, you must have:- 4-7 years of Pega Application development knowledge using the Pega Development platform- Experience in at least 2-3 end-to-end Pega project implementations- Good understanding of Pega Constellation and optimizing workflows using Pega Agentic AI- Hands-on experience in Pega Cloud, SWIFT MX and MT Message Processing, Integration modules, Case Management, Class Structure Design, Pega Integrations, Security Models, Reporting, Process Flows, Decision & Declarative Rules, Data Pages, File/Email Listeners, Job Schedulers/Queue Processors, UI/UX & Portals development rules, and Pega application performance tuning activities- Knowledge of Pega Best Practices and project implementation methodologies- Certification as CSSA OR CLSA Part1- Hands-on experience in Smart Dispute (SD) or Smart Investigate FrameworksIdeally, you should also have:- B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with 2-3 years of experience with Big 4 or paneled SI/ITeS companies- Understanding of Pega Best Practices, Guardrail improvement techniques, UI/Portals development, Pega Upgrade knowledge/experience, and grooming a team of Junior developers- Exposure to Pega Deployment ManagerIn addition, EY looks for individuals with commercial acumen, technical experience, and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving consulting environment.
