Job Description

As a Senior Analyst in the Treasury Operation team at a global energy business, your role will be crucial in supporting the main goals and critical metrics of the organization. You will be responsible for providing key analytics, reconciliations, and issue resolution for both the Treasury Operation Team and bp Business Partners worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating with local Treasury/Cash & Banking/Finance teams, leading root cause analytics, and playing a significant role in treasury and cash & banking control activities globally.Key Responsibilities:- Manage all Treasury Operation activities while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for outstanding customer service, operational completion, and compliance.- Oversee bank account management in a specific region and security officer activities in their portfolio.- Drive follow-up on the status of queries raised to the Treasury Operation Team and provide resolutions within the team and to internal or external collaborators.- Perform reconciliations for CIT GL, bank GL, term deposit, overdraft, petty cash, and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.- Control the preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.- Conduct 5 weeks and quarterly local cash forecasting and monthly cash pool reporting for in-scope GLs.- Build and empower a strong, inclusive team with varied strengths in line with the organizations values.Qualifications Required:- Relevant Finance or Economics Degree.- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Cash and Banking, Treasury, Financial accounting, or a related field.- Strong business English skills and proficiency in another language based on the supported region.- Experience in coordinating and motivating people through direct or indirect reporting lines.- Good interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills with a customer and business focus.- Proven experience in continuous improvement tools and driving issue resolution.- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP knowledge.Desirable Criteria:- Experience with Blackline Processing Journal and Reconciliation.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and resolve issues on a cross-functional level.- Experience in handling and motivating teams to foster a performance-oriented and inclusive team culture.- Multinational corporate experience is an advantage.Join the diverse and hardworking team at this global energy business and be part of the journey towards a low-carbon future.
