As a Cloud Architect/Engineer specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) at Oracle India, you will be responsible for designing robust cloud solutions, engaging in presales activities, and ensuring optimal cloud deployments. Your deep understanding of Cloud platforms, advanced networking skills, and experience in solution architecture and presales will be crucial in this role.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design and implement comprehensive cloud architectures on OCI to meet client needs, focusing on high availability, scalability, security, cost, and performance.- Develop architectural solutions for complex projects, including multi-cloud and multi-region environments.- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into OCI-based solutions.- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.- Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase OCI capabilities and value propositions.- Perform detailed sizing and capacity planning to ensure proposed solutions meet performance and cost requirements.- Analyze client workloads and recommend appropriate OCI services and configurations for optimization.- Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to demonstrate the value of OCI solutions to clients.- Design and implement advanced networking solutions for OCI, including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN, FastConnect, and global traffic management.- Develop and implement robust security measures for OCI environments, including network security, application security, and data protection.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and provide technical mentorship and support to internal teams and clients.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to drive successful cloud adoption and transformation.**Required Skills and Experience:**- Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Infrastructure modernization, advanced cloud networking & cloud security.- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in OCI, including core services, networking, and security. Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud solutions with a focus on multi-cloud and multi-region environments.- Certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications are highly desirable.
