D&T Platform Solution Manager - Logistics

Job Description

Role Overview:As the Platform Solution Manager - Cargowise, your primary responsibility is to have a deep understanding and ownership of Cargowise products and solutions from both functional and technical perspectives. You will lead a team of associate technical solution managers and developers, facilitating meetings with various stakeholders to define requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure compliance with documentation rules. Additionally, you will be involved in designing new applications, supporting IT projects, and conducting research on software products to support business cases.Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate meetings and discussions with business and operational decision-makers, internal and external specialists, vendors, and end users to align with business goals.- Define functional and non-functional business requirements and technical specifications.- Collaborate with teams to plan, design, develop, and deploy new applications/systems.- Analyze business processes and recommend system processes to meet operational needs.- Lead design sessions for mapping, wireframing, and prototyping new applications or systems.- Own product documentation and ensure compliance with documentation rules.- Review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing applications or systems.- Support IT projects and assist in developing strategies for improvement.- Conduct research on software products to support business cases.- Support project leaders in managing and controlling delivery scope.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related IT field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business system analysis.- Minimum 7 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry.- Minimum 10 years of experience in Cargowise system, including functional and technical knowledge.- Knowledge of system integrations, building APIs, product architecture, and roadmap.- Experience in building dashboards, reports, and any order management system is a plus.- Accounting knowledge in SAP or any ERP is a plus.- Knowledge of eCommerce, marketplace solutions, and last-mile delivery systems or partners is a plus.- Solid experience across the full project management and software development life cycle.- Experience in Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.- Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.- Leadership behaviors including building outstanding teams, setting clear direction, collaboration, simplification, execution, growth mindset, innovation, and inclusion.(Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
