Deputy manager- Revenue Accountant

Job Description

You will be joining Hitachi Vantaras HV Finance team in Pune, where you will play a crucial role in the Revenue Performance Organization within Controllership. Your main responsibilities will include:- Managing the daily activities of the Revenue Accounting team to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.- Reviewing and approving manual journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations.- Overseeing monthly and quarterly reporting and the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue and cost recognition.- Collaborating with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to establish consistent best practices and judgment.- Ensuring the correct accounting entries are made to the profit and loss statement and balance sheet in the revenue area.- Supporting the Revenue Team Manager in activities such as recruitment, training, and setting up backup structures within the team.To excel in this position, you should have:- A strong understanding of accounting principles and a working knowledge of IFRS15, IFRS16, or ASC606.- At least 9 years of accounting experience, with team management experience being a plus.- Proficiency in Excel and experience with cloud-based applications common in the industry.- A professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.- A minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant industry-related field is preferred.As part of a global team of innovators at Hitachi Vantara, you will collaborate to create impactful solutions for complex challenges.
