Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Cencora, you will play a crucial role in managing and improving our CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and ensuring seamless application lifecycle management. Your expertise in Azure DevOps, Salesforce deployment using Copado, and cloud infrastructure management will be essential for leading release management processes effectively. Your responsibilities will include:- Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for build, deploy, and code delivery. You will ensure automation and optimization of deployment processes.- Utilizing Azure DevOps tools for version control, branching, and repository management. Managing Azure DevOps Boards for task tracking and project management.- Building and deploying Salesforce applications using Copado. Managing Salesforce release processes and ensuring successful deployments.- Developing and deploying Python-based applications. Optimizing Python build pipelines for efficiency and reliability.- Working with Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure, including Azure Web Apps. Ensuring scalability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications.- Troubleshooting and resolving pre-release and post-release issues effectively. Collaborating with teams to identify and fix application bugs and deployment issues.- Overseeing the entire lifecycle of applications from development to deployment and maintenance.- Leading change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during updates. Driving release Go/No-Go calls and making informed decisions based on readiness.- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deployment strategies. Providing guidance and support during release cycles and deployment activities.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.- 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.- Expertise in Azure DevOps including boards, repositories, and branching strategies.- Experience in deploying Salesforce applications using Copado.- Hands-on experience with Python application development and deployment.- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Copado for deployment.- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.- Familiarity with Azure Web Apps and cloud architecture.You should possess the following skills and knowledge:- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex application issues.- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release management processes.- Knowledge of Terraform and cloud infrastructure management.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive release calls and coordinate across teams.At Cencora, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the improvement of peoples lives.
