Job Description

As a Scrum Master at our company, your role will involve driving the adoption of agile development methodologies, including Scrum, across the organization. You will be responsible for the successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), and Technology Exploration Projects primarily focused on data science and engineering in the Center for Intelligent Power. Your key responsibilities will include:- Managing and overseeing complex programs and projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders- Coaching and mentoring other Scrum Masters and cross-functional teams in agile development best practices- Facilitating Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, as well as stakeholder meetings- Identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and managing dependencies across multiple teams- Monitoring and reporting on program and project progress, ensuring transparency and visibility across the organization- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans and strategies- Working with the Product Owner in backlog management and maintaining team burn-down charts and other key metricsQualifications required for this role include:- B.E. / B Tech / M Tech- 10 Years PMP certification- Proficiency in Microsoft Project Plan and Advanced Excel- Experience in Agile/SAFe/LEAN methodologies- Agile Scrum Master certification- Experience in Global Project Management, Project Proposals, Scoping, and Risk ManagementSkills essential for this role:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Science, or related field- 8 years of experience in program management and operations, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects using agile development methodologies- Experience in Agile/SAFe/LEAN execution and providing extensive training to teams- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification and Project Management accreditation (CAPM or PMP of SAFE Agilist) recommended- Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies and tools- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong leadership skills and ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff- Experience in New Product Development (NPD) programs and managing Data science and data engineering projects- Exposure to Software development lifecycles such as Waterfall, Agile, and incremental methodologies- Highly skilled in Program and Project Management methodologiesIn this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the agile transformation within the organization and ensuring the successful execution of projects in the Center for Intelligent Power.
