If you are a Distributed Control System Professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! You will be working as a DCS Lead Engineer with the Pune Centre of Excellence engineering team. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and testing DCS software solutions for various customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Food & Beverages, Pharma, Pulp & Paper, etc.**Responsibilities:**- Design, Implement and Test system software including user interface system, database, control logics, batch layer, etc.- Support Lead engineer as Area/Sub lead for Medium to Large size projects.- Possess good knowledge of the DCS / PLC system and exposure to S88 architecture is preferable.- Have hands-on experience on Batch process Applications in industries like Biotech, Pharma, F&B, Terminal automation, etc.- Interpret Functional requirement documents and develop Detail Designs Documents.- Develop Configuration and Test guidelines.- Conduct or participate in FAT/SAT/Commissioning.- Willingness to travel to Customer site or Emerson overseas offices for short / long term.- Implement EEEC IMS processes/documentation as & when required throughout the project.- Adhere to WA quality requirements and Customers regulatory guidelines.- Practice and promote First-time right approach.- Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices).- Perform other additional specific duties when requested by the business.**Qualifications:**- Minimum 7 to 15 years experience in DCS system software configuration and test; PLC configuration knowledge preferable.- Experience in DCS - Software configuration and test, with Batch and S88 Applications being desirable.- Conducting FAT / SAT.- Experience in Third party interfaces such as Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.- Knowledge of Validation aspects is desirable.- Experience in Tools usage: MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).**Preferred Qualifications:**- Degree in Instrumentation & Electronics or any related or equivalent field.- Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Certified or gets certified on GAMP5 and GDP requirements.- Experience in DeltaV system.**Additional Details:**Emerson prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
