Job Description

    As an Environment, Health and Safety Officer in Manufacturing, located at Chakan MIDC, Pune, your primary responsibility is to ensure safe and compliant factory operations by conducting daily EHS activities, inspections, and risk assessments. You will also be tasked with maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering a strong safety culture across the site.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct safety inspections, surveys, internal audits, Gemba walks, and risk assessments.- Support ISO 45001:2018 implementation, documentation, and EHS compliance recordkeeping.- Manage contractor and visitor safety processes, including Work Permits.- Deliver EHS trainings and assist in incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis.- Maintain and update EHS software systems (Benchmark Gensuite, Wercs, Credit 360, Enhesa, Legatrix, ARIS, etc.).- Identify process improvements and propose change requests to enhance EHS performance.- Coordinate site Safety & Sustainability KPIs with cross-functional teams.Qualifications Required:- 3-5 years of EHS experience in a Manufacturing/Factory environment, with a focus on contractor safety management.- Engineering degree ADIS (MSBTE) qualification.- ISO 45001:2018 Lead or Internal Auditor certification is mandatory.- NEBOSH certification is advantageous.- Proficient in risk assessment, inspections, problem-solving, communication, and documentation.- Ability to read and speak Marathi is essential.About Philips:Philips is a health technology company dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all individuals worldwide.
