Finance Systems Expert R2R - SAP Financial Accounting

Job Description

As a SAP Financial Accounting Expert at AkzoNobel, you will be responsible for driving part of the Finance IT roadmap on behalf of the Head of Finance Systems. Your key objectives will include managing the functional R2R process design for finance systems, standardizing financial master data, ensuring IFRS and SCOA compliance, and proposing continuous improvement agendas for financial accounting and reporting processes. You will also embed the finance system process design within the organization and provide training to key users.**Responsibilities:**- Manage Finance Systems (R2R processes)- Participate in new R2R changes and initiatives for finance systems- Drive continuous improvement plans for R2R system processes- Review and approve R2R changes impacting process design- Support integrated R2R closing procedures by optimizing system settings- Ensure compliance with local statutory and fiscal requirements- Integrate financial system process design with other disciplines**Job Requirements:**- High level knowledge of IFRS, accounting, and financial reporting- High level knowledge of SAP financial modules, consolidation & reporting systems, BI & planning tooling- More than 7 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance- Ability to translate business processes into financial processes- Enthusiastic, results-oriented, and positive attitude- Strong analytical skills and interest in process development- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Drive for continuous improvement and change management capabilities- Fluent in EnglishAkzoNobel, a global leader in paints and coatings since 1792, has a passion for delivering high-performance products and services trusted by customers worldwide.
