Role Overview:The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role where you will be responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective in this role will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.Key Responsibilities:- Designing and building solutions for a global application within the Compliance group- Supporting the definition and gathering of regional requirements- Working closely with the offshore development team to define relevant solution designs that satisfy business requirements- Utilizing Java J2EE/Spring/Hibernate/Angular technologies along with a strong technical understanding of Oracle database and SQL- Applying internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing, and general best practices- Full Software Development Lifecycle responsibilities including code reviews, test case reviews, ensuring code meets requirements, component design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and Level 3 production support- Implementing user stories end to end with code changes in different layers including UI and backend along with automated unit test casesQualifications:- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role- Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Capability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsAdditional Company Details:You should have valuable knowledge of Angular, be familiar with Agile methodologies, possess basic knowledge of Java code, have a basic understanding of Oracle SQL queries, and a strong background in the Banking domain.(Note: This section is an additional company detail extracted from the job description.)If you are a person with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to use search tools and apply for a career opportunity, you can review Citis EEO Policy Statement and the Know Your Rights poster.
