GCP Architect

Job Description

As a GCP Architect at our company, your role will involve leading architecture and delivery for a large-scale migration of security platforms to Google Cloud. You will also drive SaaS transformation with strong compliance needs such as FedRAMP, FIPS, and DoD IL5. Your responsibilities will include:- Architecting AWS-to-GCP migration with a focus on functional parity, minimal downtime, and cost efficiency.- Designing and provisioning GCP infrastructure components such as VPC, GKE, IAM, NAT, Load Balancer, and Artifact Registry.- Leading data and tenant migration, schema validation, and cutover strategies.- Decomposing monolithic applications into Kubernetes-based microservices and enabling CI/CD, GitOps, and RBAC/SSO.- Establishing multi-tenant SaaS foundations with tenant isolation, elastic scaling, and API Gateway.- Ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, FIPS, and DoD IL5 along with driving secure SDLC and operational best practices.- Collaborating with clients and Google engineering teams for environment setup, triage, and architecture signoffs.- Producing architecture diagrams, migration playbooks, deployment scripts, and Jira backlogs.- Mentoring engineers and maintaining high standards for execution quality.Your expertise should include:- 11 years of experience in cloud/enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years on GCP leading large migrations or SaaS builds.- Deep hands-on experience with GKE/Kubernetes, IAM, VPC/networking, Cloud Load Balancing, Artifact Registry, and other GCP services.- Proven expertise in data/tenant migration, zero-downtime patterns, and cost optimization on GCP.- Strong skills in Terraform, GitOps (e.g., Argo CD), RBAC/SSO integration, and driving architecture decisions.- Ability to establish multi-tenant SaaS foundations, decompose monolithic applications, and enable CI/CD, GitOps, and RBAC/SSO effectively.In addition to the challenging work environment, we offer benefits that include a competitive salary and benefits package, talent development opportunities, company-sponsored higher education and certifications, engagement initiatives, annual health check-ups, and insurance coverage.
