Job Description

Role Overview:As a Procurement Project Manager, you will support in assembling and engaging suppliers on project Bill of Materials (BoM) Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to ensure comprehensive supplier involvement. You will work under general supervision conducting Design for Excellence (DfX) activities to identify opportunities for improving product cost quality and risk, ensuring optimal product performance. Additionally, you will develop innovative solutions to simplify, standardize, or platform components or assemblies across the portfolio, enhancing efficiency and consistency. Your role will also involve developing ideas and opportunities for product cost reduction and quality improvement, as well as providing cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk reduction through proactive supplier engagement in Advanced Development and New Product Development projects.
