IT Quality & Test Automation Engineer

Job Description

As a talented IT Test Engineer at UBS, your role will involve rigorous testing of applications before they are used by users. You will be responsible for solving new and interesting business challenges by supporting the QA test automation team in India. Your key responsibilities will include:- Ensuring adherence to UBS testing standards and practices- Designing, building, and maintaining an automation framework for testing the departments systems globally- Synchronizing with developers, business analysts, and the program test manager to maintain the Automation Strategy- Defining the automation book of work and working with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation- Maintaining automated scripts, fixing automation bugs- Performing requirement analysis and providing the required test coverage- Running automated test cases, archiving the evidence to meet regulatory requirementsYour expertise should include:- 14 years of working experience in testing with 7 years in IT test automation- In-depth engineering skills, technical and architectural understanding with a focus on CI/CD & Continuous Testing technologies- Experience in Scrum/Agile methodology- Full understanding of SDLC, QA/Defect lifecycle- Significant experience in modern Automation technology/tools such as Robot Framework, Cucumber, SOAP UI, JBehave, etc.- Client-focused with proven ability to motivate and challenge teams- Strong analytical and communication skills- Knowledge in Banking DomainsAbout UBS:UBS is the worlds largest and only truly global wealth manager operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
