Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you should hold a professional degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution with a proven academic track record. Your role will involve utilizing your problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures, and algorithms. Proficiency in ElasticSearch is essential for this role. Additionally, you should have at least 4 years of hands-on development experience, particularly in creating products for large enterprises. Exceptional communication skills are a key requirement.Your mastery in Java programming is crucial, and familiarity with Python would be advantageous. Experience with Spring Boot is necessary. Practical knowledge of cloud-based technologies like ElasticSearch, Storm, Hazelcast, MongoDB, Ceph, and Kafka is highly desirable. Your expertise in building highly performant scalable applications, especially those that are concurrent and/or parallelized, will be put to good use. You should have a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex issues in scalable deployments. Exposure to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) would be beneficial.In your role, you will:- Dive deep into technical aspects such as Analysis, Design & Implementation as required.- Take complete ownership of features within the product.- Engage in detailed discussions about functional and non-functional requirements with the Product Management team.- Collaborate with the team to design solutions, incorporating stakeholder input before implementation.- Create essential artifacts like functional specifications and detailed designs for your assigned features.- Implement intricate features with a strong commitment to quality, following the Test-Driven Development (TDD) process.- Maintain open lines of communication, reporting risks and progress promptly to your supervising manager.- Share your expertise with team members and provide mentorship.- Provide support by troubleshooting and creating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues, working on short-term and long-term solutions.You are expected to possess skills in Kafka, problem-solving, Spring, data structures, ElasticSearch, cloud-based technologies, MongoDB, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), J2EE, Test-Driven Development (TDD), AWS, Python, algorithms, Spring Boot, and Java.
