Role Overview:As a Lead Metrics and Analytics Analyst at BNY Mellon, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, creating financial models, and providing decision support through dashboards. You will be the primary point of contact for reports and data analysis, working with large amounts of data to ensure well-researched and analyzed information is presented. Building strong relationships with global teams, you will coordinate to maintain the integrity of financial data and provide regular updates on market performance. Your role will involve developing and updating dashboards for senior executives using Tableau, identifying opportunities for financial analysis improvement, and automating reporting tools to enhance productivity.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models/dashboards for decision support- Be the primary point of contact for reports and data analysis- Work with large amounts of data, ensuring information is well researched and analyzed- Build strong relationships with global teams to ensure data integrity- Provide regular updates on financial/sales performance of relevant markets- Develop & update dashboards for senior executives using Tableau- Identify new opportunities to improve financial analysis deliverables- Evaluate strategic initiatives and business opportunities- Increase productivity through developing automated reporting toolsQualifications Required:- Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field (MBA in Finance preferred)- 4 years of experience in Tableau Reporting- Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards using Tableau Desktop- Prior experience in optimizing performance of Tableau dashboards- Strong understanding of key performance indicators and their role in business strategy- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Prior experience in Financial Analysis in a reputed organization (Global banks preferred)- Strong knowledge of key financial concepts- Strong cognitive skills problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills- Positive attitude and effective team collaboration skills- Highly numerate with a strong working knowledge of statistics- Understanding of economic factors influence on market development- Conducting unit tests and developing database queries for analysis and issue troubleshooting Role Overview:As a Lead Metrics and Analytics Analyst at BNY Mellon, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, creating financial models, and providing decision support through dashboards.
