Role Overview:You will join the Mastercard Payment Networks team as a Lead Software Development Engineer, where your primary responsibility will be to drive the customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem-solving. Your passion for the customer experience journey, along with your high motivation, intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and entrepreneurial mindset, will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Core Payments at Mastercard.Key Responsibilities:- Utilize your minimum of 7 years of Mainframe development experience to develop cutting-edge solutions for Core Payments, focusing on Authorization, Clearing, Debit, and other key functionalities for Mastercard.- Demonstrate proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Microfocus COBOL, TWS Scheduler, and DB2 LUW.- Collaborate with various teams, including vendors, to ensure project success.- Develop high-performance software that meets business requirements and presents project-related metrics for management review.- Lead automation initiatives, defect metrics, and overall quality improvement efforts.- Coordinate between teams located in different locations to ensure seamless project execution.- Drive the technical roadmap for AODS and Clearing application by creating high-performance, mission-critical applications, analyzing business requirements, ensuring security and performance standards, researching new technologies, providing technical support, and troubleshooting.Qualifications Required:- Strong experience in Batch and online development.- Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.- Demonstrated involvement in and leadership of quality initiatives with a focus on automation and code quality.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to guide teams towards implementing the right solutions.Corporate Security Responsibility:As a member of Mastercard, you are accountable for information security.
