Job Description

    As an experienced professional in the mainframe domain, you will be responsible for the following key activities:- Interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.- Create and showcase proofs-of-concept (POCs) to exhibit the technical viability of proposed solutions.- Supervise the testing, deployment, and monitoring of automated solutions.- Assist during deployment and hyper care stages to guarantee the successful execution of projects.- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers in your team.- Define best practices for developers.- Collaborate closely with project managers and product owners to estimate effort and organize project timelines.In order to be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the mainframe domain.- Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Python.- Hands-on experience with Mainframe z/OS operating system, including system automation and operational processes.- Expertise in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS.- Familiarity with enterprise schedulers and batch processing systems.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
