As a Network Engineer specializing in Firewall Implementation (Level 2) at Pune (MH), you will be joining our Managed Security Services (MSS) Team. Your role will involve implementing, managing, and maintaining client firewalls and switches. This dual-role opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about network security, firewall management, and continuous learning.Key Responsibilities:- Deploy, configure, and provide support for client firewalls and network infrastructure.- Monitor, triage, and respond to firewall and VPN-related incidents.- Collaborate with Network Engineers and SOC teams to ensure effective resolution.- Mentor SOC team members on network and firewall operations.- Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and incident use cases.- Offer remote support for client firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity issues.- Participate in after-hours maintenance and provide on-call support as necessary.Youll also have the chance to:- Stay up-to-date with technical forums, tools, and best practices.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes and scalability.In terms of Experience, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in firewall management, networking, and security technologies.Technical Skills required for this role include:- Strong knowledge of Fortinet or Cisco firewalls.- Experience in administering DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other core network services.- Proven ability to analyze, triage, and resolve network and firewall-related incidents.- Solid troubleshooting experience in technical environments.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Commitment to providing superior customer service.Preferred Certifications:- CCENT, CCNA, NSE4, or PCNSE.- Certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, CompTIA Network, or Security.If you are a proactive network professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and mentoring others, we would be thrilled to connect with you!
