Performance Tester

Job Description

As a Performance Tester with 7-10 years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:- Identifying performance test environment requirements and collaborating with various teams to set up the environment effectively for SLA measurements- Defining and documenting performance SLAs, requirements, and expectations in terms of critical factors like response time, throughput, transactions/second, concurrent users, etc.- Developing data-driven test scripts and conducting performance and load testing of applications- Designing and executing daily load tests at a large system level- Analyzing and reporting performance testing results to project, program, and business stakeholders- Ensuring compliance of performance test scripts with standards by reviewing those created or modified by peers- Collaborating with the test automation team to enhance script reusability- Creating knowledge management deliverables such as tools-related processes and proceduresIn addition to the above responsibilities, you will be required to:- Perform initial analysis and present strategies by capturing business goals, critical workflows, and expectations- Define performance metrics, identify business-critical paths, peak transaction rates, and processes for high business impact- Ensure the test environment mirrors production in terms of hardware, software, and configuration- Develop scripts using JMeter, simulate workloads, and monitor real-time performance metrics- Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and generate detailed reports for stakeholdersQualifications:- Minimum 7 years of performance testing experience- Proficiency in Mobile App testing for both Hybrid and Native Apps- Basic knowledge of Six Sigma Methodology and statistics- Experience in test automation and creating automated test suites- Ability to troubleshoot performance-related technical issues and strategize performance tests for large or distributed programsPlease note that all communications from our recruiting team will be from the @hitachisolutions.com domain email address or via SmartRecruiters (Applicant Tracking System) hidden_email you receive any offer or information from a different domain, it may not be legitimate.
