Job Description

    A Pharmacovigilance Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing the safety of marketed drugs by collecting, analyzing, and reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs) from patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential safety concerns throughout a drugs lifecycle.Duties and Responsibilities
    • Collect and evaluate adverse event reports from various sources, including healthcare professionals, patients, and drug company representatives
    • Report adverse events to regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
    • Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance plans and procedures
    • Conduct risk-benefit assessments of pharmaceutical products
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacovigilance regulations and guidance
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in a related field, such as pharmacy, nursing, or biology
    • 0-2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or a related field
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
