Planning Manager

Job Description

As a Planning Manager at Sundyne located in Pune, India, you will be responsible for various aspects of production planning, supply chain management, and process optimization for precision-engineered centrifugal pumps and compressors. Your role will involve collaborating with international teams and key decision-makers to ensure on-time delivery and efficiency in production. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:- Leading end-to-end production/material planning and scheduling to meet customer demands- Developing capacity planning strategies and optimizing production resources- Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels- Managing the planning team and achieving departmental KPIs- Analyzing production data, adjusting plans to meet fluctuations in demand, and ensuring cost-effectiveness- Overseeing the implementation of ERP systems and accurate data tracking- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align capacity with demand and improve on-time delivery performanceYour skills and abilities should include:- Material Planning- Lean process implementation- Project Management- ERP/MRP Systems (e.g., SAP, JD)- Vendor & Stakeholder Management- Team Leadership & Development- Data-Driven Decision Making- Strong verbal and written communication skills- MS Suite experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Microsoft ProjectQualifications required for this position:- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering- Minimum 20 years of planning, scheduling, controlling experience in pump & compressor industry- Critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and effective follow up with stakeholders- Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures used in the oil and gas, chemical or related industryTechnical Skills:- ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)- Advanced Excel & Data Analysis- Production Planning ToolsIf you are excited about growth opportunities and enjoy working with a team of enthusiastic professionals, Sundyne offers a dynamic environment for your career development.Please note that the last date to apply for this position is 12/25/25.*Note: Sundyne was acquired by Honeywell on June 9, 2025.
