Job Description

As a Private Cloud Infra Architect at FIS, your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall technology infrastructure architecture of the company. You will be responsible for creating strategic plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your key responsibilities include:- Developing and maintaining the companys infrastructure architecture by creating comprehensive, scalable, and secure designs that support current and future needs.- Leading cross-functional teams to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external partners, to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions.- Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, including private cloud, public cloud, network, storage, and security architectures.- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the companys infrastructure architecture.- Creating and managing cost estimates for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI by managing financial comparisons for various solutions.To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an infrastructure architecture role. Additionally, you should possess:- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale infrastructure architectures.- Strong knowledge of Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix).- Good experience in Networking protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage).- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).- Willingness to work in 2 PM to 11 PM IST shifts.Furthermore, having industry-recognized certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CCNA), experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL), familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain) would be an added bonus.FIS offers a range of benefits to support your lifestyle and wellbeing, a multi-faceted job with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, a modern international work environment, professional education, and personal development opportunities.
