Job Description

As a Project Controls professional in the INDIA Project Management Centre (PMC), your role involves providing support for Scheduling and Cost Control, project tracking analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring that Project Controls policies and procedures are applied consistently in your assigned projects. Your excellent communication and management skills will be crucial in working with Program Managers and Project Managers to implement work processes, data structures, and technology for Project Controls.**Key Responsibilities:**- Implement standard Project Controls tool sets and work processes on all assigned projects within INDIA Operations.- Set up project schedules, track, report, highlight deviations, and propose recovery plans.- Establish project controls tools for cost control, monitor project Earned Value, and productivity.- Assist in Project timesheet coordination and management.- Support Project Controls Manager & Project Managers in project review control and reporting processes.- Plan, schedule, and control costs including monthly reviews and audits on Projects.- Perform monthly reviews, gating reviews, and audits on projects.- Coordinate internal project reviews, preparation of monthly project reports, and track project variations with respect to cost & schedule.- Attend regular internal project meetings and customer meetings.- Ensure consistent application of Project Control policies and procedures on the projects.- Collaborate with Program Managers, Contract Managers, and Operation Managers to implement work processes, data structures, and technology for Project Controls.**Qualifications Required:**- Possess a tertiary qualification in Engineering/Technology/Finance.- Project Management Institute Certified Professionals will be preferred.**Technical Skills Required:**- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft, and Primavera Scheduling.- Familiarity with cost risk analysis, Concept of Change Management, and MS Office applications.- Experience with SAP Applications, Primavera Project Planner, Microsoft projects, Earned value analysis, and Project Controls Analysis.- Knowledge of Planning and Integrated scheduling, Global Project Management, Global Project Controls, and Global Project Engineering methodologies.**Managerial Skills Required:**- Strong communication skills (English Oratory and Written skills).- Effective presentation and analysis skills.- Leadership and team management skills.**Experience:**- Minimum 6 years of experience in Project Management and Control.- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining/updating Project Schedule using Primavera P6.- Experience in project financing, budget control, cost analysis, Risk & Opportunity tracking, and unbilled analysis.- Familiarity with identifying EAC risk/opportunities and presenting them during reviews.- Experience in SAP environment using PS Module, FICO Module, and various SAP T-Codes will be advantageous.**Additional Details:**Should have extensive experience in areas of Risk Management.As a professional, you should have the mindset for multitasking, working under pressure, providing opinions effectively, making informed decisions on complex issues, and being a good team player.
