Project Manager SAP Manufacturing

Job Description

As a Project Manager at AkzoNobel, your role involves successfully executing IT projects and programs within the IT department, with a focus on Manufacturing projects. Your responsibilities include integrating projects with IOT systems, accommodating changes in manufacturing capacity globally, and implementing innovations to enhance manufacturing efficiency. The core system you will be working with is SAP ECC, with plans to migrate to SAP S4/Hana.Key Responsibilities:- Create comprehensive project plans with clear objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and organizational structures.- Establish effective project team structures, recruit and assign project staff.- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.- Ensure on-time, within budget, and high-quality project delivery while adhering to architectural, security, and compliance guidelines.- Guide, motivate, and steer project team members.- Define project objectives, roles, deliverables, planning, and budget to ensure successful project delivery.- Ensure compliance with IT project methods, approaches, and reporting standards.- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and maintain budget adherence.- Provide regular project status updates and reports to IT Delivery Management and key stakeholders.- Collaborate with support organizations for successful post-go-live handover.- Work with architecture to ensure consistent implementation of standards in projects.- Promote best practices in project management and organize post-project reviews to enhance project management capability.Qualifications Required:- Proven track record of successful IT project delivery.- Project Management certification is a plus.- More than 5 years of experience in project management roles.- More than 2 years of experience in manufacturing and production planning projects, with expertise in SAP modules PP / QM / MM / PM as SAP consultant or SAP project manager.- More than 2 years of experience with integration platforms as an engineer or project manager.- Bachelors or masters degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or related field of study.- Basic knowledge of infrastructure components such as Firewalls, switches, routers, access points, and cabling, to effectively participate in project discussions.Additional Company Details: AkzoNobel, since 1792, has been a global leader in providing innovative paints and coatings under renowned brands like Dulux, International, Sikkens, and Interpon.
