Job Description

Role Overview:As a Tactical Buyer MEA SYSS Procurement at Emerson, your primary work location will be at Matrix Tower, Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for various procurement tasks including vendor management, purchase order creation, internal approvals, invoice reconciliation, and compliance activities. You will work closely with stakeholders such as Front Sales Office, Project Managers, Planners, Buyers & Suppliers to ensure quality, timely communication, and accurate tracking of procurement processes. Your strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes, along with your ability to work with ERP systems, will be critical for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:- Vendor Creations & Vendor Database Management- Review of Purchase Order with the final RFP and supplier offers- Purchase Order requisition creation & Purchase Order creation in Oracle- Manage and expedite internal Purchase Order approvals- Supporting Vendor Invoice Reconciliation and Processing- Supplier Due Diligence approvals in the business system- Work in Emerson Project management financial/projects tools MS Teams, Power BI- Liaison with stakeholders like Front Sales Office, Project Managers, Planners, Buyers & Suppliers- Perform regulations and compliance activities- Timely professional communication and responsiveness with internal customers and suppliers- Maintain all necessary databases to support accurate tracking and reporting- Work on other duties and tasks as assigned- Ensure compliance to Emerson Record Retention Policy at all times- Ensure compliance to Emersons Ethics Policy at all timesQualifications Required:- 4-5 years of experience in Procurement Processes, Vendor Management, Supply Chain processes- Demonstrated abilities in working on ERP based systems such as ORACLE and MS tools- Conversant in Microsoft Office applications- Well versed/aware of various supply chain methodologies and best practices, prior experience on project procurement/supply chain processes and execution is essential- Ability to work in a multicultural virtual environment and lead/coordinate activities for offices located abroadAdditional Details of the Company:Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software, helping customers in critical industries operate more sustainably while improving productivity, energy security, and reliability.
