Python Backend Engineer

Job Description

Role Overview:As a Python Backend Engineer at Hitachi Solutions India Pvt Ltd, you will be joining the Product Development team with a focus on innovation, engineering excellence, and simplifying cloud solutions for customers. Your main responsibilities will include designing and building Python microservices and APIs to enhance SaaS and PaaS experiences, supporting the enterprise Analytics as a Service (AaaS) product, and other related projects.Key Responsibilities:- Write clean, reusable code with thorough comments, unit tests, and documentation.- Collaborate closely with team members from various departments including engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design.- Develop secure and scalable backend systems that provide tangible value to users.- Stay updated on emerging technologies and maintain a curious mindset.- Advocate for usability best practices and code reusability.Qualification Required:- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience, including 4 years with Python 3.x, Django/Flask Frameworks, Celery, FastAPI, and relational databases (SQL/ORM).- Proficiency in microservices-based architecture and modern cloud-based architecture.- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into functional features independently.- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks is preferred.- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.- Competency in integrating enterprise applications.- Strong commitment to writing reliable, scalable, testable, and maintainable code.- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks within set timelines.- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.- Ability to work collaboratively within teams while also contributing effectively as an independent team member.
