Role Overview:You are being sought out to join Hitachi Solutions India Pvt Ltd as a Python Backend Engineer in the Product Development team. Your main focus will be on innovation, engineering excellence, and simplifying the cloud experience for customers. As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing microservices and APIs to support SaaS and PaaS offerings, particularly the enterprise Analytics as a Service (AaaS) product.Key Responsibilities:- Write clean, reusable code with proper documentation, comments, and unit tests.- Collaborate closely with team members from various departments including engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design.- Develop secure and scalable backend systems that provide tangible value.- Stay updated on emerging technologies and remain curious about new developments.- Advocate for usability best practices and code reusability.Qualifications Required:- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience, with a minimum of 4 years working with Python 3.x, Django/Flask Frameworks, Celery, FastAPI, and relational databases.- Proficiency in microservices-based architecture and modern cloud-based architecture.- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into functional features independently.- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform, including development and deployment practices; knowledge of other cloud platforms is acceptable.- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is beneficial.- Competency in integrating with enterprise applications.- Strong commitment to writing reliable, scalable, testable, and maintainable code.- Self-motivated with a focus on completing tasks within realistic timeframes.- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.- Ability to work collaboratively within teams while also excelling as an independent contributor.Note: The additional information section includes a warning about potential recruitment scams.
