As a Quality Engineering Analyst at Infosys BPM, your role involves developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. You will monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Additionally, working closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes is crucial.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues- Communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and product owners- Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions- Maintain documentation related to quality processes, standards, and compliance- Participate in the implementation of automated testing frameworks- Maintain and update regression test suites as needed- Validate test data and system readiness before execution- Take ownership of modules and guide delivery independently- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills- Write clear emails and documentation- Excellent communication skillsQualification Required:- Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/MS- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)- Experience in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TOSCA- Ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)- Ability to analyze test results and quality metrics to identify trends and issues- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMMI)- Ability to clearly document and communicate test results and quality issues- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skillsAs a Quality Engineering Analyst at Infosys BPM, you will be part of a team that values team management and client relationship management skills.
