Job Description

As a highly motivated and experienced Tech Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers, driving the technical direction of our backend, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Technical Leadership:**- Own the overall architecture and design of our systems, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.- Hands-on experience in Ruby, Python, SQL, NoSQL, and event-based systems is a must.- Mentor and guide engineers on technical best practices, problem-solving, and career development.- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.- **Product Development:**- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Evaluate the technical feasibility and impact of product features.- Contribute to the definition and refinement of product roadmaps.- **Team Management:**- Lead and motivate a high-performing team of engineers.- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide the engineering team regarding their career growth.- Develop a proactive and ownership culture.- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.- **System Operations:**- Monitor system performance and identify and resolve issues proactively.- Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems.- Automate processes to improve efficiency and reliability.- Explore and evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to our products.- Drive the adoption of AI/ML solutions to enhance product features and improve business outcomes.**Qualifications:**- **Required:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.- At least 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.- At least 1 year of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.- Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and high-performance backend systems.- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, preferably Ruby or Python.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Mindset of Continuous Improvement.- Proactive in hiring to achieve business goals.
