As a skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team at our company. You should possess experience in automation tools such as Rest Assured, Cucumber, Web Driver, and Java. Additionally, technical skills in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, REST, JSON, Eclipse/IntelliJ, and GIT are required. Your role as an SDET Engineer will be based in Pune, and you should have 5 to 9 years of experience in this field on a full-time basis.**Role Overview:**- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to ensure product quality.- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.- Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability through innovative solutions.- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.**Key Responsibilities:**- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java.- Good understanding of Java/OOPs concepts.- Good understanding of Testing concepts.- Experience testing RESTful APIs, integration testing of APIs, web user interface, and/or reports.- Understands and implements standard branching (e.g., Gitflow).- Has skills in test-driven and behavior-driven development (TDD and BDD) to build just enough code and collaborate on the desired functionality.- Able to perform debugging and troubleshooting to analyze core, heap, thread dumps and remove coding errors.- Understands the use of basic design patterns (e.g., factory, adaptor, singleton, composite, observer, strategy, inversion of control).- Understands and implements Application Programming Interface (API) standards and cataloging to drive API/service adoption and commercialization and effort estimation.- Experienced in agile and modern SDLC practices (Scrum/Kanban/Continuous Delivery/DevOps/Quality engineering) and the delivery situations they are used.- Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Delivery (CD) concepts, and capabilities to support automation, pipelines, virtualization, and containerization.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in distributed systems.**Qualifications Required:**- Competitive salary and benefits package- Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies- Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards- Annual health check-ups- Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parentsYou will be part of a values-driven, people-centric, and inclusive work environment at Persistent.
