Seat Foam Design Engineer

Your main tasks will involve creating, developing, and realizing designs in CAD. You may work independently or in a smaller team within the seats design team. Additionally, you will represent all design activities during product development, collaborate closely with team engineers and test engineers, and ensure production-ready series design of seat foams.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design and development experience in Automotive Seats Foam Design.- Creates/develops/realizes designs in CAD, developing concepts in line with requirements.- Works independently or in a smaller team within the seats design team.- Represents design activities during product development, collaborating with engineers.- Production-ready series design of seat foams and other complete seat component parts.- Communication with suppliers and creation of 2D drawings for production.- Controlling and ensuring necessary development steps.- Responsible for internal Data management in Brose PDM and customer PDMs.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering/Automotive engineering.- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in seat foam design.- Knowledge and experience in Automotive Complete Seat Design and development.- Proficiency in CAD 3D designing and 2D drafting using CATIA V5.- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.- Basic knowledge of design calculations and working on Seats Structure will be advantageous.- Good communication and presentation skills.**Additional Details:**Brose offers a high-tech work environment and a wide range of benefits.
