Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Role Overview:At Citco, you will be a part of a pioneering organization that has been at the forefront of the asset servicing sector since 1948. Your primary responsibility will be in Fund Administration, where you will be involved in preparing and reviewing financial statements, regulatory reports, and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements following GAAP or IFRS guidelines- Compile balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and other necessary financial schedules- Advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports such as Form PF and Form SLT- Interact with internal parties, clients, regulators, and audit firm personnel to maintain strong regulatory reporting relationships- Write and review reports related to engagements- Generate adhoc reports for clients as requested- Troubleshoot Fund Accounting and client issues- Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills- Ensure accuracy of footnote disclosures by reviewing legal documents governing the fund- Coordinate the year-end financial statement process- Identify errors or problems, investigate independently, and recommend solutions- Follow established procedures, plan own work, and suggest methods for new work assignments- Assist in developing training programs for accountants in financial reporting and the alternative fund industryQualifications:About You:- Four to six years of asset management accounting experience in Accounting Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or other financial institution- Previous experience in Financial Statement Preparation- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 Accounting credits- Excellent communication skillsAdditional Details:At Citco, your wellbeing is a top priority, and the company offers a range of benefits, training, education support, and flexible working arrangements to help you succeed in your career while maintaining a work-life balance.
