Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst APAC WA at Emerson, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics and automation techniques to transform complex financial and transactional datasets into actionable insights that drive World Area Finance operations. Your role will involve driving standardization, centralization, and process optimization within World Area Financial Reporting, acting as a point of contact for functional consultancy for World Area Automation Projects, and driving automation projects for orders, sales, and backlog reporting. Additionally, you will be tasked with improving headcount reporting, standardizing processes at the World Area level, developing month-end reconciliation processes, establishing automation processes, creating process and end-user documentation, contributing to team playing and creative thinking, supporting the monthly reporting process, assisting in financial closes processes, handling ad-hoc requests, and driving a continuous process improvement culture within the group.Qualifications Required:- Finance Professional with minimum 6 years of FP&A domain experience- Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, Advanced Excel, and Power BI- Strong Communication Skills & cross-functional Interactions- Analytical thinking ability and good team player- Action Oriented and driving for Results- Self-starter, suggesting and implementing improvements to the processes- Manages stakeholders, Situational adaptability- Manages complexities & Manages ambiguity- Qualified CA/ MBA in Finance- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- System Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management- Power BI or related presentation toolsPreferred Qualifications:- Not specifiedAbout Emerson:Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software, helping customers in critical industries operate more sustainably while improving productivity, energy security, and reliability.
