Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst at Johnson Controls, you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making within the organization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data availability, quality, and insight generation, ultimately supporting the companys objectives and fostering a culture of data-driven excellence.Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of data from various databases and sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for analysis.- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and analytical tools to explore data patterns and generate actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and predictive behaviors relevant to business operations.- Collaboration: Partner with business units to understand their analytical needs, providing tailored data analysis and support that aligns with their strategic goals.- Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data collection processes, improve data quality, and implement best practices in data management and analytics.- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across the organization.Qualifications- Bachelors degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related domain, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes.- Strong proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation, along with experience in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
